Two cities in the Amazon.
One shared ambition.
Paulo was born in Belém, Pará. Digiorgia in Parintins, Amazonas. Both were raised in Manaus, where they studied, built careers, started a family — and quietly began dreaming bigger. Paulo grew up around entrepreneurship, developing an instinct for sales, communication, and building things from scratch. Digiorgia studied Business Administration and spent years managing operations at Petrobras in Manaus. Together, they had stability. But they also had a feeling that wouldn’t go away: there was more to build.
Starting over

In 2023, the family landed in the United States. No inherited business. No established network. Just a clear-eyed assessment of what it takes to build trust from scratch in a new country.

Arrived in the United StatesThe family landed in Fort Mill with a clear strategy: find an industry with high local demand and room for someone obsessed with quality to stand out. After evaluating dozens of options, carpet and upholstery cleaning emerged as the clear choice — every home needs it, most competitors cut corners, and Brazilians had already built a strong reputation in the cleaning industry in the U.S.

Early 2024
Training & investmentBefore cleaning a single carpet, Paulo trained under a specialist in carpet and upholstery restoration — fiber types, extraction chemistry, stain behavior, drying science. They invested in commercial-grade equipment from day one. No rental machines. No consumer-grade shortcuts. If the standard was going to be high, the tools had to match.

First job — Velvo is bornA close friend’s apartment with carpets that hadn’t been cleaned in over five years. Heavy wear, deep-set grime, a dull appearance. After the BCP Restore™ extraction, the carpet looked new. The friend couldn’t believe it was the same floor. That was the validation: the process worked.
